Used by the Fort daily at 1pm (1300 hrs) (closed Tuesday) in conjunction with the Customs House Timeball.

The Fort is fortunate to hold in its collection an amazing group of artillery pieces from different periods within its history. Many of these guns are in top working condition and are regularly fired during special events, such as public long weekends, Cruise ship salutes and importantly ANZAC Day every April.

 

Visitors are always welcome to view the collection and the firings.

 

The Fort also fires its 2 pounder Time Gun at 1pm daily,

(except Tuesdays - Fort closed).

The Fort is open 6 days a week, (closed Tuesday) from 10am to 4pm.

Admission and self guided tours (excluding tunnels) of the Fort is free.
